Helmut Ballot was born on 1 August 1917 in Berlin, Germany. He was a writer, known for Das Haus der Krokodile (1976) and Victor and the Secret of Crocodile Mansion (2012). He died on 5 September 1988 in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, West Germany.
