Ms. Illes began her career in television during her first year at university, where she was a finalist in a national contest for the most talented broadcast reporter. She worked her way up through various roles-including journalist, reporter, editor, chief editor, and director-before making her debut as a producer in 2008. By this time, she had already become the producer of Hungary's largest live event television show, adapting international TV formats for the local market and creating original, out-of-the-box concepts.
In 2013, she founded her own production company and produced some of Hungary's most ambitious theatrical shows, including The Game Creator (A Játékkészíto) and Dream Traveller (Álomutazó). That same year, she also launched VR Vidámpark, Europe's largest virtual reality amusement park, where she serves as founder and CEO.
In 2021, Ms. Illes expanded into feature film production with the biographical drama Toxikoma. The film became one of the highest-grossing and most-watched Hungarian films of the year, and it continues to be one of the most-streamed Hungarian films on Netflix and RTL+.
Following her success in film, she signed a deal with Hungary's leading TV channel to produce the daily series Pure Love (Hazatalálsz), which premiered in 2023 and quickly became the most-watched daily series in the country. The second season aired in 2024, further cementing the series' success.
In 2024, Ms. Illes became the owner of Orca Beat Studio in China, a cutting-edge virtual reality company that focuses on creating immersive VR experiences. With its innovative approach to entertainment, Orca Beat is positioning itself as a leader in the rapidly growing VR industry.
Her latest feature film project is the upcoming drama EGYKE, produced by Ms. Illes and screenwriter-producer Norbert Köbli, and directed by Bálint Szentgyörgyi. Production takes place in 2025, with the film scheduled for theatrical release in autumn 2026.
