Rayna earned bachelor's degrees in theatre and interdepartmental science—a blend of physics, chemistry, biology, and math—from Wittenberg University. During her time there, she gained experience in tech work, stage management, directing, and performing. Afterward, she worked with college, professional, and community theatres while founding her first improv troupe, KRAMM. She then transitioned into promotional modeling, quickly advancing to market manager and eventually touring. Rayna also led long-term promotions, including a rigorous four-month program for Dekuyper Pucker. In 2010, she portrayed Molly Modern in a three-month touring edutainment production for Verizon. Subsequently, she joined Feld Entertainment's Three Classic Fairy Tales as an assistant electrician, touring internationally. Her travels with the company have taken her to Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Japan, Taiwan, and across the United States.
