Farshad Kholghi was born on May 17, 1971, in Tehran, Iran. He is an actor and writer, recognized for his roles in Nordkraft (2005), Forbrydelsen (2007), and Nudellah (2003).
Farshad is a Danish-Iranian debater, actor, and lecturer. In 1984, at the age of 13, he fled Iran with his family to Denmark. Today, he is one of Denmark’s most popular lecturers, known for his sharp wit and inspiring storytelling. He has taken part in numerous stage productions, venues, and one-man shows, and is a member of the Danish comedy group "Pejseshowet." His film credits include "Angels in Fast Motion" and "Pizza King," and he has appeared in TV satire programs like "OPS" and "Yallahrup Færgeby." In 2007, he portrayed one of the main suspects in the acclaimed TV series "The Killing." In addition to acting, Farshad is an experienced writer, contributing to publications such as MetroXpress and Berlingske Tidende, where he engaged in debates on Islam and integration. That same year, he published the book "The World is ONE Country," which recounts his childhood in Iran, his escape to Denmark, and his personal experiences with integrating into a new society.
