Etyen Mahçupyan is a Turkish journalist and writer who served as senior adviser to Ahmet Davutoğlu, the former foreign minister and prime minister representing the conservative Justice and Development Party (AKP). He wrote for Zaman Newspaper, an Islamic-conservative daily in Turkey, and later contributed columns to Akşam, Sabah, and Karar newspapers, all known for their political alignment with Ahmet Davutoğlu. In his role as senior adviser, he traveled and met with journalists, politicians, and bureaucrats. Subsequently, he co-founded the right-wing Future Party alongside Ahmet Davutoğlu and has continued working with him since.
