Rodrigo H. Vila is a globally recognized Director, Writer, Producer, and Showrunner. At 28, he founded his own production company, Cinema 7 Films, driven by his entrepreneurial vision. Rodrigo has excelled across the music industry, international TV networks, streaming services, and the film sector. His work ranges from acclaimed documentaries to feature dramas and genre films, many of which have been selected and awarded at numerous international film festivals. Recently, he published his debut novel, "Mengele, in the Name of the Father," released in Argentina, Mexico, and Spain by the esteemed VR Editoras. Rodrigo's accolades include the Condor de Plata for Best Documentary of the Year (2014), two Martin Fierro awards for Best Argentinian Production for Foreign Countries, and the Carlos Gardel Award. His films have featured notable actors such as Harvey Keitel, Hayden Christensen, Geraldine Chaplin, Britt Robertson, François Arnaud, Lito Cruz, José Sacristán, and Marco Leonardi. He holds a degree as a Media Producer from Instituto Técnico ORT II and trained in Theater and Acting Direction under Master Juan Carlos Gené, known as the Argentine Lee Strasberg. Rodrigo has participated in numerous workshops across Spain, France, and Italy, and has been a panelist and speaker at various industry events. He has contributed to training programs for Argentina's Industry Ministry, Culture Secretary, and National Film Institute, and served as a jury member for multiple international festivals. A former member of the European Documentary Network (EDN), he was also Forum Director of the International Forum Doc Meeting Argentina from 2008 to 2015. Rodrigo has produced original content globally, with his films as Director and Producer co-produced and distributed by FOX International Productions, 20th Century FOX, Universal Pictures, Buena Vista International, Lionsgate, HBO Max, Star+, Amazon, and Netflix.
