Marc Griffith is an award-winning producer, director, and editor whose career in film and television spans more than four decades. The son of Hollywood television writer James F. Griffith, whose credits included Mission: Impossible, The Fugitive, Dr. Kildare, and Peyton Place, Marc was immersed in the art of visual storytelling from an early age. Growing up around writers, production offices, and editing rooms, he developed a lifelong passion for crafting stories that entertain, inspire, and leave a lasting impact.
In 1985, Marc founded his first commercial production company, producing award-winning films and national advertising campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and leading organizations. He later co-founded Iron Image Media with his wife and producing partner, Michelle Griffith, expanding the company’s work into feature films, documentaries, television programming, and entertainment marketing.
Throughout his career, Marc’s productions have earned numerous industry honors, including Telly Awards, Cine Awards, and a regional Emmy. His work has ranged from documentaries and broadcast television to feature films recognized at festivals around the world. Among his recent projects is the acclaimed historical drama Bau, Artist at War, produced with Michelle Griffith and released theatrically through Paramount Pictures’ Republic Pictures label. He is currently in post-production on the feature documentary Forgotten: The Lost Science of Oskar Fischer, an exploration of one of the most compelling and overlooked stories in the history of Alzheimer’s disease research.
Known for blending cinematic storytelling with historical authenticity and emotional depth, Marc is drawn to projects that illuminate forgotten stories, celebrate the resilience of the human spirit, and challenge audiences to see the world through a different lens. His slate of work spans historical dramas, documentaries, psychological thrillers, faith-based films, and family entertainment.
Marc has served as a jury member for the Burbank International Film Festival and continues to mentor filmmakers while developing new motion pictures through Iron Image Media. Whether producing for the big screen, directing documentaries, or shaping stories in the editing room, his mission remains the same: to create films that inspire hope, preserve history, and demonstrate the enduring power of great storytelling.
