Florencia Berner, born in Santiago, Chile, with flamenco shoes on her feet and a microphone in hand, has crafted a remarkable career portraying fearless, strong-willed young women. Early on, she pursued a dual path: earning a degree in Psychology while nurturing her passion for acting, a blend that later enriched her emotionally nuanced performances.
Her professional acting debut came in a 2019 film directed by Boris Quercia, where she played his competitive teenage daughter. Florencia’s career rapidly expanded to major international platforms, starring in Prime Video’s Secretos de Familia, Paramount+’s Dime con Quién Andas, and Disney+’s upcoming antagonist role in Llévame al Cielo.
Florencia made her global Netflix debut in 2025, joining the cast of Baby Bandito’s second season, directed by Julio Jorquera, Pepa San Martín, and Alejandro Bazzano of Casa de Papel fame. Embracing a new genre, she performed her own stunts involving firearms and physical challenges.
Venturing into new genres, she starred in the musical feature film La Ola (The Wave), directed by Academy Award-winner Sebastián Lelio. The film premiered at the Cannes International Film Festival, marking a significant milestone in her international career.
Recently, Florencia won Best Acting at the SAM Awards and earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Series at the prestigious Caleuche Awards in Chile.
