In Italy during the late 1940s and 1950s, Germana Calderini was highly involved in voice dubbing. She focused on dubbing young foreign actresses such as Elizabeth Taylor and Pier Angeli. She also occasionally provided voices for child performers, both female and male, including Clare Sandars in Mrs. Miniver (1942), Dean Stockwell in Gentleman's Agreement (1947), and Bobby Driscoll in So Goes My Love (1946).
