Raphaël Roberge was born on July 26, 1996, in Laval, Quebec. From an early age, he discovered his passion for movies and music. He took various classes, including theater, camera acting, musical theater, diction, and improvisation, quickly realizing that acting was his true calling. In 2010, he began singing lessons to enhance his skills, and soon found he had two passions: singing and acting. Since then, he has participated in numerous amateur singing contests.
Raphaël's television credits include French-language shows such as Ni plus Ni Moi, C.A., and Un Tueur si proche, as well as English-language projects like This Life and Compiling. He has also performed in stage plays and musicals. In 2014, he was chosen from over 6,000 candidates to compete in Mix4, a singing competition broadcast on Vrak, a popular Quebec teen channel. This enriching experience allowed him to connect with like-minded individuals, industry professionals, and to tour Quebec and New Brunswick for 50 performances, including the Francofolies concert attended by 15,000 people.
During the summer of 2015, Raphaël performed more than 15 solo shows at events such as the St-Jean Richelieu Balloon Festival and Festiblues. In September 2015, he was cast as Peter Pan in l'Aventure Magique, performing over 60 shows across Quebec and Ontario, which helped him develop a more theatrical acting style.
Raphaël is deeply involved in social causes. In 2015, he served as the spokesperson for the Week of Intellectual Disabilities in Ste-Thérèse, where he lives, advocating for equal treatment for all. He has also served as a judge for singing and oral presentation contests.
On June 15, 2015, he released his first single, "Libre Comme L'air," which peaked at #4 on the iTunes French Pop chart and reached #60 on one of the L'ADISQ charts. The song has garnered 10,000 plays on Spotify and over 9,000 views on YouTube. He has also released singles titled "Menaces Invisibles" and his first English single, "Alive." His debut EP was released on December 15, 2015, reaching the top 12 on the iTunes French Pop chart. Raphaël wrote or co-wrote all the songs and launched the EP on December 14 to a sold-out audience.
