This Daytime Emmy-nominated actor was born and raised in Los Angeles. After earning a BA in film production with a focus on directing from Cal State University at Northridge, Michael swiftly shifted to acting. He was cast as Stone Cates on ABC Daytime's "General Hospital," earning an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor. At the same time, Michael embarked on a second career, following in the footsteps of his father, a renowned publicist at Freeman & Sutton Public Relations Firm, which represented notable clients such as Martin Lawrence, Burt Reynolds, Christopher Walken, Elijah Wood, Patty Duke, Miramax, Oprah Winfrey, and the American Film Institute. Michael specialized in Food & Beverage promotions, significantly influencing LA's nightlife for over twenty years, with ventures like XENII, The Lodge Steakhouse, and Guys & Dolls. With an extensive network of celebrities and pop culture influencers, Sutton is now a leading luxury real estate agent at The Beverly Hills Estates and a successful design-build specialist with "TMG" The Michael Group. In addition to his talents in front of the camera and in home design and construction, Michael and his wife Kristina run Lakris, a high-end luxury silk clothing brand worn by top celebrities and sold in exclusive boutiques. Sutton is a founding member of the Next Generation Council of the prestigious Motion Picture & Television Fund, serves on the board of BHAAA, and established The Joe Sutton Scholarship in honor of his father, providing financial aid. In 2022, Sutton was inducted into the Beverly Hills High School Athletic Hall of Fame for football.
