Sean is a senior media executive, entrepreneur, investor and producer. In partnership with brother Bryan, in 2024 Sean launched GPS (Global Position Studios), an innovative, globally-focused studio for the modern-era. A producer of distinctive, commercial films & TV series, and the pioneer of a unique, cross-cultural approach to international television, GPS is capitalizing on an evolving media environment that now, more than ever, favors co-production and top quality storytelling from local creators in a highly competitive international market. GPS develops, produces and finances franchise-minded series in both US and non-US locations, at local budgets, maximizing financial incentives and geared towards global distribution.
Sean’s producing career includes recent Universal Pictures’ release Renfield, starring Nicholas Hout, Nick Cage and Awkwafina. Recent TV series include Dime Tu Nombre for Amazon Prime in Spain and Classified for Netflix Africa and Amazon Prime. Feature film and TV credits include the Golden Globe Award nominated feature The Matador, Oscar nominated feature The Cooler, Lionsgate feature Daybreakers, Showtime series Dice and CW sci-fi series Star Crossed.
Upcoming feature film projects include Comeback, written and to be directed by Nacho Vigalondo for Neon, Stealth, to be directed by Lee Daniels and Pulitzer Prize winning author David Auburn’s adaptation of the award winning non-fiction book American Gun.
Upcoming series include Impact Winter for Netflix, written by Travis Beacham to be directed by Francis Lawrence, the Italy-set Barolo, written by Tom Basden and starring Pierce Brosnan, Brazil-set Cold Blood written by Braulio Mantovani & Fernando Garrido for Apple+, a series adaptation of The Matador written by Fernando Rovzar and to be directed by Richard Shepard for Apple+, the San Miguel Project written by Jonathan Jakubowicz & Nicki Paluga for Apple+ and other co-productions with partners including Miramax, North Road, Blumhouse, All3, HBO Max and Tornante.
Sean previously served as Co-President of Film and Television at Skybound Entertainment, the multi-platform company behind global television hits The Walking Dead and Invincible, where he established the company’s film and television business, managed overall deals with Universal Pictures and Amazon Studios, and built the company’s global television business from ground up, with partnerships across Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
Prior to this, Sean served as EVP of Production at Overture Film Studios, the studio and distributor behind such films as The Visitor, Righteous Kill, Traitor, The Crazies, and Law Abiding Citizen.
