Kristina Klebe, born under a Gemini sun and Aries moon, is a passionate and versatile creative with a deep love for storytelling, both on screen and behind it. She graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College, majoring in government with a minor in film. Her theater education continued at the Eugene O'Neill National Theater Institute in Waterford, CT, followed by graduate studies at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned a master's degree in directing. A first-generation American born in New York City, Kristina spent her childhood traveling between the U.S., Germany, France, and Italy, absorbing languages—she is fluent in four—and cultures.
Kristina’s passion for acting was sparked as a teenager in the 1990s blackbox theaters of downtown Manhattan, during a time when the city was still vibrant and edgy. It was there her career began, performing on stages such as Soho Rep, The Jean Cocteau Repertory, the Irish Arts Center, and the Public Theater alongside Colman Domingo. She took on classic roles like Juliet in "Romeo & Juliet" and Beatrice in "The Servant of Two Masters." Her breakout role came as the sharp-tongued Lynda in Rob Zombie’s "Halloween" (2007), establishing her as a horror genre icon. From that point, she embraced complex roles in bold independent films like "Proxy" (TIFF 2013), "Dementia" (NYT Critic's Pick 2015), and most recently "Brooklyn 45" (SXSW 2023). Additional film credits include "Chillerama" (2011), "Tales of Halloween" (2015), "Don’t Kill It" (2016), and Neil Marshall’s 2019 "Hellboy" remake. On television, she has appeared in CBS's "Criminal Minds," "NCIS," and "S.W.A.T.," FOX’s "The Following," and NBC’s "Law & Order." Her voice and motion capture performances feature in numerous top-selling video games, such as "Friday the 13th: The Game" (2017), "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus" (2017), "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" (2020), "Rainbow Six: Siege," "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction" (2022), and "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" (2023).
Alongside acting, Kristina continues to write, direct, and produce short films, and has documented over a dozen open-heart surgeries for organizations like Doctors Without Borders, Surgeons of Hope, and Open Hearts Haiti. Her shorts have competed at prestigious festivals including Sitges and the Oscar-qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival, earning her recognition as an emerging director by The Black List. She is currently in post-production on her debut feature film, "Noxturne," which she wrote, directed, produced, and starred in.
In addition to her creative work, Kristina has dedicated over a decade to the charity French-American Aid for Children, volunteers and fosters animals with Best Friends Animal Society and Much Love Animal Rescue, and is a former competitive equestrian specializing in three-day eventing. She is also a certified rescue diver and divides her time between New York, Los Angeles, and Berlin.
