Selene Caramazza was born in Palermo in 1993. While earning her law degree at university, she also studied acting at the Drama School "Action Theater." Early in her career, she appeared in several TV series, including "Il commissario Montalbano," "Il Cacciatore," and "Squadra antimafia." Her first leading role was in "Cuori Puri," directed by Roberto De Paolis, which was featured at the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival and earned her the Best Actress award at the 2017 Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla.
