Since 1981, he has served as Chairman of the Board, CEO, and President of several small TV and independent film companies, as well as businesses in related science and communication fields. He acquired and merged his former companies with five other entertainment firms under one umbrella, "Yes, Dear, That's My Show Entertainment Company," based in Wyoming. These companies were restructured into divisions, including The American Burlesque Troupe (live entertainment and events), Orange Canyon Films (TV and film productions), Feraclo (film equipment rentals and crew services), America's Extras Casting (talent and extras casting), Orange Canyon Designs, and Rocky Mountain Music (music publishing and recordings). Orange Canyon Films currently has two TV projects in development: "Small Creek" and "Corsairs Eight."
He has worked both independently and on a work-for-hire basis in story development for Aaron Spelling Productions, Spelling-Goldberg Productions, Spelling Entertainment, Inc., ABC, Lorimar Productions, Warner Brothers, NBC, and Silverman Productions, as well as various independent film projects. His roles have included production analyst, supervising producer, and associate producer focused on budgets, schedules, and contracts.
As an actor, he appeared from infancy in several early 1950s television shows such as I Love Lucy, Father Knows Best, and Leave it To Beaver, as well as in various made-for-TV movies and independent films. Later in life, he made uncredited appearances in films like He Was a Quiet Man, The Prestige, State of Play, and Angels and Demons. Known behind the scenes as a "private gun for hire" or a "film fixer," he has worked both openly and discreetly to resolve issues and ensure film completions.
Additionally, he currently owns The American Burlesque Troupe, America's longest-running and last remaining "Big Five" black-tie burlesque troupe, which has been in operation since October 31, 1931. He is also an author, poet, internet writer, and entrepreneur. His most recent projects include a TV show titled Those Johnson Girls of Johnson County, a live performance, and a new book.
