Nick Cody's laid-back comedic style consistently sells out shows and sees him excelling worldwide, while becoming a familiar face on Australian TV and radio.
With a loyal fan base both locally and internationally, he has sold out performances and received rave reviews at every major comedy festival in Australia, as well as at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London's Soho Theatre. He has also performed multiple times at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, along with appearances at the New York Comedy Festival and Johannesburg Comedy Festival.
In addition to his recent televised stand-up special "What Of It?" (ABC), Nick has built an extensive list of Australian and international TV credits. His work spans stand-up (Conan, Melbourne Comedy Festival OXFAM Gala, Opening Night Allstars Gala, Comedy Up Late, Just For Laughs), panel shows (Have You Been Paying Attention, Talking 'Bout Your Generation, Hughesy We Have a Problem, AFL's The Kick), and acting roles (Please Like Me, Kinne, The Wizards Of Aus). This year marks his feature film debut in the Australian movie "The Merger."
Nick's profile grew significantly overseas following his US TV debut on Conan O'Brien's late-night show, making him only the fourth Australian to appear there. He also became one of the few Australians invited to perform stand-up on Comedy Central.
Invited by the Australian Defence Force, Nick has performed for troops abroad, enjoying multiple trips to Afghanistan and the UAE, including a show aboard HMAS Melbourne while at sea.
Recently, he became the face of Carlton Dry, with Carlton United Breweries appointing him as their Ambassador. He stars in numerous commercials and features prominently in their major State of Origin advertising campaign.
A veteran of the podcast scene, Nick’s current show, 'Crushin' It with Nick Cody,' continues to grow its audience. Previously, he and fellow comedian Bart Freebairn produced 200 episodes over four years with their 'Something for the Drive Home' podcast, which TimeOut magazine praised as "pleasingly bite-sized slabs of rough-as-guts insanity."
