Hailing from Canada, Ms. Foster began her career as a magazine model and dancer on the Canadian TV series 'Any Way You Want It'. She trained at HB Studios in New York City and spent several years as a professional film and commercial actress before shifting her focus to television. There, she took on roles including Camera Operator, Floor Manager, and Technical Director on the award-winning political panel show Week In Review (KCLA) in Santa Monica.
Her VFX career started at Cinesite in Los Angeles, where she was part of the complex restoration team responsible for digitally reconstructing the classic Disney animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). After the success of these groundbreaking digital techniques, she worked as a technical artist on films such as Coneheads (1993), Cliffhanger (1993), and the Academy Award-nominated (for visual effects) Super Mario Bros. (1993). As a staff animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks, Foster contributed to films including Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995), Wolf (1994), The Cable Guy (1996), Virtuosity (1995), Hideaway (1995), and James and the Giant Peach (1996).
She then transitioned into the gaming industry, starting as a CG supervisor for Squaresoft's hit game Parasite Eve (1998), where she also directed two key cinematic sequences. She subsequently served as CG supervisor and Technical Director for the games Evil Dead: Hail to the King (2000) and THQ's Scooby Doo (2000). After a period as Executive Producer for the broadcast design division of Duck Soup in Los Angeles, Ms. Foster took on the role of Senior Producer at Phantagram Entertainment. There, she produced 32 animated cinematic sequences for the acclaimed game The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), based on the Peter Jackson film (Electronic Arts), as well as the opening character animated cinematic for the sequel Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders (2004) (NCSoft). Later, she served as Core Producer on LEGO Universe, the AAA Massively Multiplayer Online Game developed by Gazillion Entertainment.
In 2016, Ms. Foster joined Maddox Media as Director of New Media, where she wrote and directed the spec feature 'Cake Queen.' By 2019, she became Executive Producer for Asteri Entertainment and Publisher for Prima Games.
