Katy Yoder is an award-winning actress from Las Vegas and a Northwestern University graduate, where she studied theater and minored in psychology. She works in both Los Angeles, CA, and Atlanta, GA. As a member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, Yoder has experience in TV, film, theater, voiceover, motion capture, national commercials, and sketch comedy. She recently guest-starred in two episodes of True Reviews, which won the 2024 Silver Telly Award for Best Online Comedy Series.
Her work has appeared on Lifetime, BET, Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, Cleo TV, Shorts TV, Funny Or Die, and the UK’s Pulped. Upcoming projects include a role in Amy Wang’s Slanted and voicing the lead character in the animated series The Atlantean, directed by Anky Cyriaque and produced by Story Is King Pictures. She also assistant produced and contributed to research and development for the upcoming documentary feature Reservation Redemption, set to air on PBS.
Beyond acting, Katy serves as a Content Strategist for the Mayor of NYC’s Office of Criminal Justice and the Office of Entertainment and Media. She is developing an innovative filmmaking program aimed at keeping gang-affiliated youth off the streets. Her motto is #shootfilmsnotguns.
Katy has Swiss-German, Scottish, and British roots and holds dual citizenship with the UK.
