Jason Fairn, born in Canada, developed a passion for martial arts during his youth, inspired by films like Enter The Dragon starring Bruce Lee. He advanced his skills by entering the Mixed Martial Arts arena. Competing across Canada, Fairn achieved an undefeated bare-knuckle record of 22-0. Coached by former world champion kick-boxer Patrick Smith, he gained recognition in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, facing Texas kick-boxer Guy Mezger in an elimination bout. Despite dominating early in a thrilling fight, Fairn suffered a first-round technical knockout after his corner threw in the towel. Following this loss, he experienced several defeats. However, in 2004, Fairn revitalized his career by defeating three opponents in a single night.
