John B. Lowe is an actor, director, and filmmaker with over 35 years of experience in theatre, film, and television. He has appeared in numerous feature films and TV movies, as well as a wide range of American and Canadian TV shows, performing as a regular, recurring, or guest actor.
He has produced, written, and directed several award-winning short films and is currently developing new screen projects through his company, Broccolo Creative. Additionally, John B. is a skilled theatre actor and director, having performed on many stages across Canada and produced and directed numerous independent theatre productions.
John B. teaches Screen Acting at the University of Winnipeg and continues to train and coach professional actors for Broccolo Creative, focusing on Acting for The Camera. He has been instructing emerging and professional actors since 1989. His past roles include School Director at Prairie Theatre Exchange and artistic director of St. Albert Children's Theatre. He has also taught acting, theatre, and film for various organizations such as the University of Manitoba, University of Alberta, The Citadel Theatre, Sunshine Theatre, Western Canada Theatre Centre, The Okanagan School of The Arts, CATO, and others.
As the owner and producer of Broccolo Creative, John B. leads a media and performing arts company dedicated to producing original works for both screen and stage.
