Pippa Anderson serves as the Vice President of Post-Production at Lucasfilm, managing the entire post-production process across live-action, direct-to-consumer, and animation projects. Since 2013, she has overseen post-production for films such as Strange Magic, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Solo: A Star Wars Story, as well as the Star Wars Rebels animated series. She will continue to lead post-production for the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
After earning a degree in Business Communication from the University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, Pippa entered the entertainment industry through editing three telemovies—a role outside her journalism training but well suited to her storytelling skills. This experience launched a successful editing career in television and film before she transitioned full-time into post-production supervision. She spent several years as Head of Post for Peter Jackson in New Zealand, supervising and delivering major projects including King Kong (2005), The Lovely Bones, District 9, and The Adventures of Tintin, where she first met producer and future Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
Following Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm in 2012 and Kennedy's appointment by George Lucas to lead the company, Pippa was personally chosen to head post-production. Since then, she has managed all post-production stages for the Star Wars films, including budgeting, scheduling, editorial, sound design, music, and final delivery. She also earned co-producer credits on Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Pippa is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
