Christina Elizabeth Smith grew up near Nashville, Tennessee. She discovered her passion for performing early on as a dancer, becoming a touring competitive dancer by age ten and a national champion by fourteen.
At sixteen, she borrowed an acting book by Uta Hagen from her older sister, which sparked her interest in acting.
A member of SAG/AFTRA, Christina is best known for her recurring role as Ginny Young on NCIS: New Orleans. Her credits also include appearances on The Young and The Restless, Days of Our Lives, Paradise Lost, Grey's Anatomy, and more. She starred in the film Ever, which won the Audience Award at the Chicago Reeling International Film Festival. Christina has shared the screen with actors such as Geena Davis, Alan Ruck, and Scott Bakula. Additionally, she wrote, produced, and starred in the short film Pretext, aimed at raising awareness about the aftermath of sexual assault.
Dedicated to her craft, Christina has studied theatre and acting at UCB, The Groundlings, and is a graduate of iO West Improv. She has also trained with Diana Castle, The Beverly Hills Playhouse, and Sam Christensen.
Her breakthrough stage performance was as Georgie in Spike Heels at The Beverly Hills Playhouse.
Besides acting, Christina is a professional painter represented by Shockboxx Gallery in Hermosa Beach, California, with her artwork also featured on Artsy.
