Independent producer since 1984, focusing on documentaries, among them many international co - productions, Founder and co-managing director of Belfilms ltd a prolific independent production company. Produced among others " A Film Unfinished " , directed by Yael Hersonski , 2010, a feature doc, co produced with MDR/SWR, ARTE and Yes Docu, "A Snail in the Desert" ( 2009) directed by Oded ( Adomi) Leshem, "Yerushalayim, Jerusalem, El Quds" directed by Liran Atzmor, "God forbid" a feature length documentary on the ultra orthodox society for ARTE , "The Inner Tour", directed by Raanan Alexandrowicz, co produced with VPRO, BBC, ARTE, SBS, " Israel's Generals", a three part series on Israeli leadership, co produced with BBC, ARTE, YLE, SBS, TV2, RTBF and channel 8, Noga etc.
5 chapters of " Tkuma" the epic series made for the 50th anniversary of the State of Israel. Produced and partly directed more than 100 short films which comprise the permanent exhibition at the new Historic Museum of Yad Vashem, Jerusalem.
Her films were screened at numerous important film festivals among them the Berlinale, Sundance, Hotdocs, IDFA-Amsterdam, MOMA, New York etc. Served on numerous juries among others at the Haifa Film Festival (2017), Docaviv (2015), Jerusalem Film Festival (2014, 2024), Baden Baden Drama Competition (2012) etc.
Taught 2000-2018 at the Tisch School for Film and TV of the Tel Aviv University, creative production and media landscape. In fall 2013 visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota. 2007-2015 head of the Film Department at the Faculty of Arts - Midrasha, Beit Berl College.
Conducted workshops and participated in WIP at Goa, Tbilisi, Sarajevo Chisinau, Budapest, Torino and Tel Aviv where she coached among others "City of the Sun "(Best Doc Sarajevo 2017, Madrid Intl. FF 2017), Golden Gate award, San Francisco etc., "Machines", Sundance Cinematography award, Thessaloniki, Fipresci award etc., "Ultra" (EFA Doc Selection 2017), "An insignificant man" (CPH: DOX, London FF).
Served as the first program consultant to the 2nd Channel Authority and between 2000-2002 served as Deputy director for Television at the 2nd Channel Authority, designing quality programming demands. Served on the international board of Input, an Intl. screening conference dedicated to excellence and innovation of television in the public service and acted as the International President of Input between 2005-2010.
Was among the founders of the Documentary Filmmakers' association in Israel. Served as representative of the Filmmakers on the Board of the Cable and Satellite Authority and is at present member of the board of the Producers' Association and EFA. Received Lifetime Achievement Award from the Israeli Documentary Forum in 2016.
