Born in the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany to American parents Sergeant Talmadge Tweed, and Micki Cooley Fox, Angela spent her childhood in Germany, Texas and Hokkaido Japan until the age of 6 when her family settled in Knoxville, TN. Her mother, Micki, was active in theater as a supporter, producer, actress and fundraiser which started Angela's discovery of acting at a young age. After a few years of studying in Knoxville, and San Francisco which included workshops with Stella Adler in the 1980s, Angela moved to New York to continue training at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She spent 20 years in New York where she sang in established cabaret and music venues including the Duplex, Rose's Turn and Club Tatou, and took roles in off-Broadway productions at La Mama, Little Theater at Tonic, as well as in award winning productions at The Flea, and The Public. Since 2016 she has primarily done voice over work and sketch writing, and recently started getting work with Jupiter Entertainment's local reality TV productions.
