Ângelo began his theater studies at CPT (Centro de Pesquisa Teatral - Center for Theatre Research) and later enrolled at EAD (Escola de Arte Dramática at USP - School of Dramatic Art). There, alongside Gabriel Vilella, he staged his first production, "Aurora da Minha Vida," in 1986.
Two and a half years after receiving an invitation from Ulysses Cruz, he joined the group "Boi Voador," performing in works such as "O Despertar da Primavera." He then appeared in "A Cerimônia do Adeus" by Ulysses Cruz, which won the APCA Award, as well as "Tamen - A Inconfidência" by Paulo Affonso Grisolli, "Não Flor, Nem Fera" by Ângela Barros, and "A Lista de Alice" by Elias Andreatto. He received a Shell Award nomination for the monologue "A Prova" and was part of "O Continente Negro," both by Aderbal Freire Filho, the latter also earning critical acclaim.
On television, he participated in several successful productions, including "Pantanal," "O Dono do Mundo," "Engraçadinha," "O Cravo e a Rosa," "Alma Gêmea," and "As Cariocas."
In film, his most notable works include "2 Filhos de Francisco" and "Chico Xavier," along with strong performances in "Sonhos Roubados," "Não se Pode Viver sem Amor," and "Entre Vales.
