Luke Angus is an award-winning filmmaker and seasoned 3D animator known for his emotionally resonant storytelling and visually striking work in animation. Originally from Scotland's west coast, Luke began his career in New York City, where he collaborated with leading studios including Nickelodeon and Framestore. His work spans both commercial and independent projects, with a focus on narrative-driven short films. In 2021, Luke received the Best Animated Short Film award at the Short Film Awards for his acclaimed sci-fi short Alienated. His most recent film, Solstice, a poignant meditation on grief and isolation set in the Arctic Circle, was selected for the Academy Award-qualifying Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Tokyo, as well as the BAFTA-qualifying Manchester Film Festival. Now based in Scotland, Luke serves as Head of Animation at Revenant, an emerging studio recognized for its innovative approach to animation and visual storytelling.
