John was born to two lovely, but decidedly starving, artists. He played poker to put himself through UC Santa Barbara, where he studied Film and Psychology. Afraid to repeat his past, he attempted for many years to be a "standard, middle-class, white guy." His breakthrough came in 2019, when he stumbled upon, and began studying with, entertainer Jerry Corley. John was a finalist in the 2020 US Comedy Contest. He is a founder and producer of the live stand-up showcase Best Medicine. John lives in Los Angeles with his wife, dog, and cat.
