Jodi Lynn Thomas, born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, graduated with honors from the Las Vegas Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, majoring in Theatre. She then earned a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Northern Colorado. Her training continued with Clark Middleton at APT 929 in LA, Leigh Kilton-Smith, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, ongoing classes at Annie Grindlay Studios, and the Chubbuck Acting Technique at Southwest Scene Works.
A multi-award-winning 'Best Actress,' Jodi has starred in over 40 leading roles, including feature films and TV pilots. She has acted alongside notable talents such as horror icon Tony Todd (Candyman) and acclaimed character actor Basil Hoffman (Ordinary People, The Artist). She has also shared the screen with Tony Goldwyn in 'Outlaw Prophet: Warren Jeffs,' Josh Hartnett and Eiza Gonzales in 'She's Missing,' Natalie Portman in 'Jane Got A Gun,' and Bella Thorne and Kyra Sedgwick in 'Big Sky.' Known as an indie favorite in horror circles, Jodi has received numerous positive reviews, particularly for her leading role in 'The Creep Behind The Camera' (VOD, Screamfest & Fantasia International Film Festival).
Her recent work includes roles alongside Tina Fey and Jon Hamm in the dark comedy 'Maggie Moore(s).' She also completed filming a lead role in the psychological thriller TV pilot "Behind The Yellow House," produced by Brendan Fehr, portraying a mentally fragile and emotional housewife involved in a sex cult.
Jodi has collaborated with notable directors such as Andrew Stanton (Wall-E & Finding Nemo) on Amazon's 'Tales From The Loop,' Adam Arkin and Daisy von Scherler Mayer on Epix's 'Get Shorty,' and Sam Catlin on AMC's 'Preacher,' where she expanded a one-episode role into a recurring three-episode arc, playing a key part in the season finale.
In addition to acting, Jodi is involved in producing. Her dark comedy pilot 'Willa,' which she co-directed and wrote, has toured the festival circuit, earning multiple finalist awards including at 'Your Script Produced (2019)' and the 'Austin Comedy Film Festival (Fall 2022).
