With three decades as a professional screenwriter and multiple award nominations, he began his career on the production team of Saturday Night Live, working alongside talents like Eddie Murphy and Martin Short. He spent several years in feature development at major studios such as Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox, Sony Animation, and DreamWorks Animation. He contributed to numerous projects for Nickelodeon Movies, Paramount's children's film division. His writing credits include two produced animated children's series, one of which won a Daytime Emmy Award during his tenure. He also developed a feature adaptation of the beloved middle-grade novel The Castle in the Attic with Walden Media, the studio known for Chronicles of Narnia and Bridge to Terabithia. His latest television work involved a three-year development partnership with producer Andrew Lazar, known for American Sniper. His writing spans a wide range of genres, including science fiction, action-adventure, suspense, and family films. He was nominated for an Edgar Award in mystery writing for 12:01 PM (New Line Cinema).
