Kay (Konstantinos Papathanasiou) is a film reviewer, consultant, and analyst specialising in editing, scriptwriting, and visual storytelling. He began his career at the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, gaining hands-on experience across production and postproduction while completing his BA in Communication. He later moved to the U.K., earning a Master’s degree in Visual Effects and an Apple certification in video editing. Amongst others, his short film "Ithaca" won the "Nostimon Imar" Award for Best Greek Director Abroad, and his documentary "Asperger Syndrome: Myths & Reality" was donated to the National Autistic Society in the U.K. After years working across documentaries, corporate videos, fashion shows and concerts, he completed his PhD in Film and TV Studies at the University of Nottingham, focusing on how film editing techniques psychologically create meaning. Today, he lectures, consults with independent filmmakers, writes scripts, and reviews and analyses films, with a focus on narrative structure, the craft of editing and storytelling, psychological depth, and societal impact.
