Mauro Tracco has started his career as journalist in his home city Sao Paulo (Brazil) before moving to Barcelona, where he got a Master Degree in History and a Degree in Filmmaking. During his period in the Spanish city, he wrote, produced and directed three short movies. The last of them, El Folio Rojo, has been selected and awarded by several festivals from around the world.
