Magnus Lekberg was born in 1976 in Karlskoga, Sweden. His brother is Anders Lekberg. He has studied film at the universities of both Örebro and Stockholm as well as art in Gothenburg and Eskilstuna.
He has worked as a reporter for newspapers and television, as well as editor and photographer. He is currently studying TV producing at Dramatiska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden.
