Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Fadi Hakim is a writer, producer and restaurateur who owns Canada's Largest Comic Book company with over 800+ publications in Lev Gleason Publishing and has several shows and movies to his credit, including 4 major live-action and animated series in development with Lev Gleason Studios.
As an accomplished Chef and an award-winning member of the Sommelier Guild of Canada, Hakim opened his first club and restaurant, The Coloured Stone, at twenty. Ten years later, he opened Citron Restaurant, Citron Retail, two Canopy Fair Trade Coffee locations, Canteena Food and Drink Lounge, and The Chelsea Room. Since 2007, after a stint of Restaurant Consulting in San Francisco, he has opened The Chelsea Room, The Lakeview Restaurant, The Lakeview Storehouse, The Abbott of Parkdale, The Tenant of Parkdale, The Contender, and the heralded 27,000 Sq ft venue known as The Great Hall in Toronto. Most recently, Fadi added the award-winning Haifa Room in Toronto and Bar Haifa in Vancouver, as well as Yaffa Restaurant and The Jean Darlene Piano Room in Toronto, Canada.
