Jan is a German-American screenwriter/producer from Germany. He has also worked as a trailer producer, director, visual effects artist, and editor. Jan grew up in a bi-cultural and bilingual family on both sides of the Atlantic. Following his German high school diploma and time in the German army, Jan received his cum laude undergraduate degree from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College in New York and the James B. Pendleton Center in LA. His debut film Reborn Lost, which he wrote, directed, and produced, premiered in 2016. Following the festival circuit, Jan worked as a full-time writer/producer for an entity of Leonine Studios. Since 2021, Jan has been working as a freelance writer for TV and screen.
