Amir Malik Rogers, was born April 29, 1994 to Ralph and Cheryl Rogers. Amir graduated from Penn Foster High School and after a few different endeavors he decided he wanted to master the skill of photography. Determined to fulfill what he believed to be a calling and after talking with his parents, Amir convinced his parents to get his first camera which started him down the road of photography. Within months, it wasn't long before traveling on that path that Amir began to thirst for more and he soon found other cross ways in the Production genre. That roadway led him down a path where he decided he wanted to become a producer. Not just of videos but films. At age 21, Amir did the research and with the help of YouTube he taught himself how to become one of Philadelphia's finest Film-Makers, Writers, Directors, Editors, Producers and the proud Founder and Owner of GNG Entertainment. He provides all types of Videography and film making related services. Having worked with many artists such as Lee Mazin, Reco Havoc, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill, PNB Rock and many more. Five years ago a fire was ignited by a desire to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. The beauty and freedom found with unexposed film became the accelerant that fueled the passion of my craft. Every day is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to experience something new. My work doesn't produce what is seen by the camera, but what I feel with my mind and my heart. Within 5 years, I have written, produced and directed Melody 1 and 2, The Perfect Love Story, Wake Up, Habit and several Music Videos. I created the Positive Vibe Tour and toured all across Philadelphia High schools showcasing my movie, "Wake-Up" which was based on turning the negative into positive. This tour went on for the last seven months starting in September.. I won the "WeRunTheStreets" Award Show for best Web Series "The Perfect Love Story" and best soundtrack "The Perfect Love Story" in 2015-2017. I was also nominated for the "Director of the year" at the Philly Hip Hop Awards. I am a single father whose sole desire is to be able to make my family proud. My son, Amir Jr., is my inspiration to do whatever is needed to ensure he has a secure future.
