Bengt-Åke Kimbré was a Swedish photographer, screenwriter, director and TV-producer. At first he studied painting, photography and art history, before he was trained to television producer. He was employed by the Swedish National Broadcasting System for 30 years where he produced some 400 programs in a number of genres. His portrait of Swedish photographer Christer Strömholm, the TV-series "Chinese Characters" and "The Photographers Secret" standout in his long line of works.
