Laura J. Axelrod is a writer, director and co-founder of Pharaoh's Drawers Media. She focuses on documentary filmmaking, often exploring subjects about cultural history and the creative process. Laura received her MFA and BFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. She has been honing her craft since high school, when she made her directorial debut with a comedy short that was broadcast on a local cable access TV station.
