Clayton Cannon is a versatile actor whose work in television and film showcases his wide-ranging talent and depth. He recently finished filming Season 17 of "Criminal Minds." In 2017, he delivered a memorable performance as Hank Martin in the short film "I We're Good," demonstrating his ability to bring complexity to characters in brief stories. That same year, he portrayed Zeke Moore in the "Sympathy for the Goddess" episode of the popular TV series "Lucifer," adding subtlety to the show's blend of celestial and human themes. In 2016, Cannon appeared as a Police Officer in "Pee-wee's Big Holiday," contributing to the film's comedic and adventurous tone. His adaptability across genres was also evident in his role as Peterson in "Beverly Hills Christmas" (2015) and as Cop #2 in the short film "Tactics" (2014). Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Clayton comes from a diverse background, with a father of Scottish and Native American (Cherokee) heritage and a Puerto Rican mother. He has two younger siblings. Influenced by his father, who encouraged him to embrace new experiences, Clayton had an active childhood filled with various sports. His passion for boxing began after watching "Rocky II," leading him to win the "Houston, Texas National Silver Gloves Tournament" at age 14. His father's encouragement also led him to dance, earning him a two-year scholarship with the Houston Ballet and performances with The Discovery Dance Group. At 19, Clayton joined the US Marine Corps, serving in an Infantry Unit at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, where he joined the boxing team and amassed an 88-1 record. The Marine Corps instilled in him a strong sense of determination. After his military service, he studied theater at the University of Houston and started his acting career, eventually relocating to Los Angeles to pursue his passion. Now based in Los Angeles, Clayton Cannon continues to build his career, recently appearing in a supporting role in "Beverly Hills Christmas" alongside Dean Cain and starring in a national commercial for Mercury Insurance.
