Russ Miller has been one of the most internationally recognizable names in drumming, for the past three decades. As a recording artist, he has played on over five-hundred albums, which have won multiple Grammy® Awards and sold more than 33 million copies. Russ’ movie and TV credits number over 150 and have earned more than a Billion dollars at the box office. His musical versatility has led him to work with an incredible list of over 60 legendary artists, from Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, Tina Turner & Bobby Caldwell to Andrea Bocelli, Nelly Furtado, The Psychedelic Furs, Hilary Duff, Steve Perry, Michael Buble’ and countless others. As a star of the Los Angeles studio scene, Russ has topped dozens of Readers Polls globally, for his contributions to studio drumming and popular music. Along with his many sideman recording and touring credits, he has been a staple on T.V., from the grandest sporting half-time shows, to featured "house bands" such as on "American Idol". He holds guest professorships at the Shanghai and Beijing Conservatories of Music, has authored 4 award-winning books and has 6 Instructional videos published. As a part of his many contributions to the industry, Russ has also created over 80 products for 11 different manufacturers of musical instruments. Included in this, is the industry staple, "Subkick" (low-Frequency mic) which is featured at the Percussive Arts Society International Museum. Leading his own band and touring globally, he has 7 solo albums, with a collective 23 weeks in the HOT100 . Russ’ single with Giovanni Hidalgo, "Things We Said Today" peaked at #32 on the TOP40 Radio Charts and the hit "Rhythm World" for his trio "Arrival", climbed to the TOP40 as well. Russ is a Signature level endorsing artist for Pearl Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Remo Heads, Vic Firth Sticks and Brushes, Porter & Davies Tactile monitoring, Hercules stands, and Prologix practice pads. Russ’ corporate and producing career began slowly over many years but took a giant leap forward in 2020. "HITKOR" the brand for the entertainment company Online Events, LLC., started its climb to a leading streaming content provider, launching in 2020 and publicly in late 2022. Russ is the founder, one of the owners and CEO of Online Events, LLC., for which he is the Executive Producer of dozens of music and TV series shows each year. The music instrument manufacturing division Gruv-X, LLC. launched in 2020. Russ began Gruv-X as a manufacturer of his past signature products and new designs. Gruv-X and its primary brand "X-Percussion", is now sold in over 300 dealers and in over 16 countries worldwide. R.M.I. Music Productions Inc., Russ’ Production company has hundreds of credits, Grammy® nominations and almost a dozen top40 and top20 radio hits with its record label (R.M.I. Records), which turned 30 years old in 2022. He is also the owner and CEO of Bold Hits, LLc. screening printing factory and merchandise sales.
