Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Davida Williams started acting at eight years old. She began with guest appearances on shows like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Star Trek, Sister Sister, Days of Our Lives, and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper. Her first major film role was in Younger & Younger, featuring Donald Sutherland and Brendan Fraser. Nickelodeon cast her in Cry Baby Lane alongside Frank Langella. Around the same time, HBO enlisted her for voiceover work on the children's animated series Happily Ever After, alongside Raven Symone.
At 13, Davida became the youngest actress featured in the late makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin's book, Face Forward, which also included over 100 celebrities such as Sharon Stone and Lucy Liu. She was then cast as "Claire," Hilary Duff's rival, on the Disney/ABC series Lizzie McGuire, one of Disney's most popular shows. She remained on the show for two years. Later, she reunited with Hilary Duff for the New Line Cinema film Raise Your Voice, starring Rita Wilson, Kat Dennings, and Jason Ritter. Davida then relocated to New York, where she secured a recurring role as Jade Taylor on CBS's As The World Turns for a year and a half. After returning to Los Angeles, she guest-starred on Revenge and 90210 before leading in the Lifetime movie Teenage Bank Heist. Recently, she completed a film produced by Free People Clothing, starring Margaret Qualley from The Leftovers, and appeared in a short film for Nylon Magazine alongside Chloe Grace Moretz and Josh Rubin.
