Brian DeMarco grew up in the famed 'Boys Town' orphanage just outside Omaha, Nebraska. Weary of the often strict and authoritarian treatment he received there, he ran away at the tender age of 15, living itinerantly, moving from town to town, until eventually joining up with a traveling road show called, 'The Mills Brothers Spectacular Flying Circus'. After several months cleaning up after Bessie the elephant, ringmaster Amos Calloway, considering Brian's intensity and compact stature, took pity on him, and graduated him into the newly created human cannon ball act. It was at this time that he was befriended by a beautiful, wayward, 17 year old, gypsy girl named Echo Starr. In addition to her gift for palm reading, fortune telling, love making, and short cons of all kinds, she was an accomplished guitar player and blues singer. She introduced him to the country blues music of her people, instructing him in guitar, harmonica and love making. When being shot out of a cannon proved detrimental to his health, Brian decided to try his hand at clowning, developing the character of 'Be-bop', a lovable, if not clumsy clown. Over the next several years he criss-crossed this great nation entertaining adults and children of all ages. It was at this point that he was discovered by the renowned promoter and movie man, Colonel Elmo Swift. The Colonel, immediately recognizing Brian's gift for the dramatic, set to work introducing him to the magical world of movie making. In his personal time Brian enjoys writing Haiku and practicing the ancient art of Yogic Flying.
