Charlotte Munck was born on December 2, 1969, in Århus, Denmark. She is an actress and writer, recognized for her work in Meeres Stille (2013), Headhunter (2009), and A War (2015).
Munck has built a remarkable career across film, television, and theatre. Known for her strong and intelligent performances, she has taken on a diverse range of roles. Her credits include portraying a military prosecutor in Tobias Lindholm's War, Blanche Dubois in The Royal National Theatre's production of A Streetcar Named Desire, and Helen Sander in Juliane Fezer's German psychological drama Meeres Stille. Her breakthrough on television, both in Denmark and internationally, came with three seasons of TV2's popular series Anna Pihl, where she played the title character with a blend of wide appeal, depth, courage, and a readiness to take risks. Committed to versatility, she has recently appeared in Von Baden's climate thriller Brokenhagen, Theatre Grob's award-winning Peter og Elgen, and various other film and TV roles. She also starred in DK1's flagship series Follow the Money. Additionally, Munck released a new album titled Instructions to God, created in collaboration with the trio MunckBjornKodal. She led in Hella Joof’s feature film Shake It, acting alongside Mads Mikkelsen and Troels Lyby, earning nominations for both the Robert and Bodil Awards for Best Female Lead.
