Born and raised in Germany, Birte currently splits her time between Los Angeles and Berlin. She is fluent in German, English, and French, and holds a law degree. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a clown to make people laugh, but later pursued law school. After graduating in 2006 and working as a fashion model to support her studies, Birte decided to follow a career in acting, a path she has embraced ever since.
She began her acting career as a series regular on the popular German TV show "Under One Roof" before gaining recognition as the female lead in the action-comedy film "Agent Ranjid rettet die Welt," starring alongside Rutger Hauer in a Constantin Film production. More recently, she starred in "Was kostet die Liebe – ein Großstadtmärchen," a modern adaptation of the classic Cinderella fairy tale. This romantic comedy aired on SAT.1, one of Germany’s largest TV networks, and was produced by the Emmy Award-winning company UFA Fiction.
In 2014, Birte obtained her American work visa for acting and modeling, and appeared in the film "Make You Better" with comedian Nick Offerman. As a fashion model, she has collaborated with major brands such as PIERRE CARDIN, DIOR, AUDI, and SAMSUNG for over ten years. Her work has been featured in prominent fashion and lifestyle magazines including ELLE, MARIE CLAIRE, and FHM. Since 2013, she has served as the spokeswoman for CELLAGON and CELLAGON COSMETICS.
When not working on set, Birte enjoys horse riding—she owns three horses—kickboxing, and traveling the world.
