Tegan Bukowski Behel was raised on a boat all around Puget Sound, Washington. She is the great (7 times over) granddaughter of Antoine-Augustine Parmentier who forced the French to eat potatoes in the 1780's and granddaughter to a grandfather who helped design McDonald's arches. As such, she is the recipient of a rather extensive Histoire du French Fry. She is also, supposedly, Charles Bukowski's grand niece but her family's only proof is they have the same last name and that Tegan's dad is his identical twin according to Bukowski's ex-girlfriend and muse. This has little nothing to do with Tegan's filmography, but they say that provenance is everything when it comes to art.
Tegan is a writer, producer, and art director living with her husband Henry Behel, their dog Max, and ten chickens between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, California.
