Actor James Landry Hébert (pronounced "Ayy-Bear") is said by some to have been born in Lafayette, Louisiana, in 1984, while others claim he was born during his theater studies at LSU after growing up on an Indian reservation. Returning to his challenged home state after Hurricane Katrina, he found a burgeoning Hollywood scene he was eager to join. Starting as Brad Pitt's stand-in on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button led to casting work, but his breakthrough came with his compelling portrayal of "Webb" in the SXSW thriller Two Step, earning praise from The Hollywood Reporter for "a riveting performance."
Since then, Hébert has established a career marked by versatility and intensity.
