Chris Craymer is a native Brit with dual US/UK citizenship who has lived and worked all over the world. He wrote and directed the award-winning film "Gifts Of The Heart," which was acquired by Disney Plus for streaming in 2025. The film was marketed by Network Ireland and is part of a prestigious package that includes Oscar and BAFTA winners and nominees.
The film picked up sixteen laurels at the film festivals. It won Best Film at the Hollywood Just For Shorts Festival, nominated for Best Short at the Orlando Film Festival, Best Romantic Short at the Love Story Film Festival (London), Best Director at the Cutting Room International Film Festival, Best Film at the Cutting Room International Film Festival and Winner of the Best Film at the Procida International Film Festival. The film stars Tamzin Merchant (The Tudors, Carnival Row, Salem), who in her lead role in "Gifts Of The Heart," won Best Actress at the Global Independent Awards and Best Actor in a Lead Role at the Cutting Room International Film Festival.
In addition, he wrote and directed the award-winning short film "American Romance" which was honoured with six Laurels on the film festival circuit.
Chris has enjoyed an illustrious career as a photographer and TV commercials director and has been commissioned by numerous international publications including Vanity Fair, Vogue, Conde Nast Traveller and the New York Times. He has published four photography books and has photographed a host of celebrities including Anthony Hopkins, Kate Winslet, Jennifer Lopez, Oprah Winfrey, Susan Sarandon and Johnny Depp.
