Jeannine Kaspar is an emerging and dynamic talent making waves in Hollywood. Originally from Columbus, Georgia, she was raised in Durham, North Carolina as one of nine siblings. Kaspar’s breakthrough came with her role in Freeheld (2015), starring alongside Steve Carell, Elliot Page, and Julianne Moore.
Her passion for acting was sparked by watching Will Ferrell on Saturday Night Live during her youth. After high school, she pursued a degree in Communication Media at North Carolina State University, but her enthusiasm for acting never waned, leading her to chase her dream after graduation. Following several commercial roles, she confirmed her commitment to the craft.
Relocating to Los Angeles proved a pivotal step for Kaspar’s career. Her TV appearances include guest roles on NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, USA’s In Plain Sight, and recurring roles on FX’s Nip/Tuck and House of Lies. In film, her credits feature the blockbuster Iron Man (2008) with Robert Downey Jr., the award-winning indie Paper Covers Rock (2008), where she earned Best Actress honors, and the thriller Hidden in the Woods (2014) alongside William Forsythe.
Kaspar shines in the drama Freeheld (2015), sharing the screen with Julianne Moore, Steve Carell, and Elliot Page. The film, based on a true story and an Academy Award-winning short documentary, follows New Jersey police lieutenant Laurel Hester (Moore) and her domestic partner Stacie Andree (Page) as they fight to secure Hester’s pension after a terminal cancer diagnosis. She also holds a leading role in Supermoto (2016), directed by Sam Bisbee and the team behind the indie favorite Infinitely Polar Bear (2014), starring Zoe Saldaña and Mark Ruffalo.
