Versatile actor Jovan Armand is widely recognized for his portrayal of Pedro Peña, a key supporting character in the 2019 DC Comics film Shazam!
Before Shazam!, Jovan appeared as Troy, Brick's best friend, on ABC's popular series The Middle. His television credits also include roles in Hawaii Five-O, Parenthood, Shameless, Children's Hospital, Nickelodeon's Bella and the Bulldogs, and more, showcasing his range and ability to engage viewers.
Of Salvadorian and Mexican heritage, Jovan has expanded his portfolio with numerous short film roles. He starred as Gabe in the 2017 short film Drowning, which won the Imagen Award for Best Theatrical Short. In 2014, he played Chub/Diego in the film Chub, which earned accolades at the Gasparilla International Film Festival, International Film Awards Berlin, and Sarasota Film Festival, along with nominations at the Miami Film Festival and for an Imagen Award.
