Karine Dilanyan is a film director, screenwriter, member of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR (now the Russian Federation), translator, editor and publisher, professional astrologer. She studied at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography to become a documentary film director (graduated from university in 1982). She also studied directing at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David - Lampeter Campus (Master's degree).
