Dylan Cohen was born on the 31st of July, 1996, in Australia and has spent his entire life there. At the age of five, Dylan became inspired by popular director Wes Craven for his work on Scream (1996) and A Nightmare on Elm Street. Dylan started writing stories at a young age which eventually turned into scripts. In 2011, Dylan found a massive hobby for film making and decided to film a feature film called "Slasher". Slasher would end up failing after limited scenes were filmed. In 2013 and 2014, Dylan studied media and created four films during these years. A stop motion animation titled "Stand Up Against Bullying", a short film "Beavan Above"; a five minute film "House Of Horrody's" which was a combination of horror and comedy; and his major project "Imprisoned" which had a production period of 5 months. After making Imprisoned, Dylan became even more inspired and decided to create a production company that would be known as DLCD Productions. He would then decide that his first official project outside of school would be "Buried Lies (2015)", a mini web series with elements of crime, mystery, thriller and romance. Dylan created the idea and co-wrote it with Vanessa Wilcox. Now, Dylan is in mid-production of Buried Lies which is set for release in September/October 2015 on DLCD Production's official YouTube channel. Buried Lies is his official pubic directional debut. Dylan has many potential future projects in mind meaning that his career in the film/tv industry is only just beginning.
